Pedal Along the Erie

Inspired by the lines and reflections created by the trees. Today was a peaceful 10-mile ride along the Erie Canal’s west end leaving from the Camillus Erie Park. These images take in some of the changes already happening at summer’s end. It is a beautiful fall crisp day with the colors and shapes accentuated by the light. Paintings will happen from these images.

Color my World

Biking along Onondaga Lake and the Erie Canal seeking early Autumn Color.  Cool weather allows for greater distance with less stops to cool off.  The more I rode the warmer it got and of course I was dressed for the low 50’s weather.  The picture opportunities were amazing and I smiled all along the trails.  I hope to get a few more trips in before the snow flys.
